1. General
These terms and conditions apply to the use of Visitpal. Visitpal is operated by JTB development, registered with the Dutch Chamber of Commerce under number 42160483 (VAT number NL004007987B65) and trading in the Netherlands as Bezoekmaatje. Our business address is on our contact page. Visitpal is free to use; with Visitpal Plus you can use extra features for a fee. By using our service, you agree to these terms.2. Service provision
Visitpal provides a platform for:- Creating and managing visit agendas
- Planning visit appointments by visitors
- Sending emails, such as confirmations and notifications (see article 4)
- Clear overview of scheduled visits
3. Terms of use
By using Visitpal, you agree that you:- Use the service as intended
- Do not abuse the functionalities
- Treat other users respectfully
- Only enter correct and current data
- Do not use the service for illegal purposes
4. Availability and emails
We strive to keep Visitpal available as much as possible. However, interruptions may occur due to maintenance, technical problems or other circumstances beyond our control. We cannot guarantee 100% availability.We send emails, such as confirmations, notifications and cancellation messages to visitors, through an external email service. We cannot guarantee that an email arrives or is read in time, for example because of an incorrect email address, a spam filter or an outage at that service. As the manager of an agenda, you remain responsible for informing your visitors yourself, especially when something changes or is cancelled at short notice. The emails from Visitpal are a tool to help with that.5. Costs and Visitpal Plus
Visitpal is free to use. For extra features you can get Visitpal Plus. All prices include VAT; payment is handled by Stripe, including iDEAL.- Monthly subscription: €3.99 per month. The subscription renews automatically every month and can be cancelled monthly via Settings → Subscription. After cancelling, you keep Plus until the end of the current month.
- Single month: €4.99 once. Plus runs for one month from the payment and then stops by itself; nothing is charged automatically.
- Free trial: you can try Plus once for 7 days free of charge, without entering payment details. The trial stops by itself and you will not be charged. There is one trial per account, and only for those who have not paid for Plus before.
- Cancellation period: when paying, you explicitly ask us to start Plus right away. You lose your 14-day cancellation period once the service has been fully provided; if you cancel within those 14 days, you pay for the time you already had Plus.
- When Plus or the trial ends, your agendas, appointments and settings are kept, but the extra features no longer apply until you get Plus again.
- If you then have more agendas than are allowed without Plus, the agendas you created first stay bookable. On the others, visitors cannot make new appointments until you get Plus again; they are kept, though. This only concerns agendas you created while you had Plus or a trial.
6. Liability
Visitpal has been developed with care, but we cannot guarantee that the service always works without errors or interruptions. If we are nevertheless liable, that liability is limited to the amount you paid for Visitpal Plus in the 12 months before the damage occurred. This limitation does not apply if the damage is the result of intent or gross negligence on our part.7. Security
We take appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your data. However, we cannot provide absolute guarantees that unauthorized access will never occur.8. Privacy and data
For information on how we handle your personal data, please refer to our privacy policy. By using Visitpal, you also agree to this privacy policy.9. Intellectual property
All intellectual property rights relating to Visitpal, including the name, logo, software and content, belong to the owner of Visitpal. It is not permitted to copy, distribute or use these without permission.10. Account deletion
You can have your account and all associated data deleted at any time. Please contact us via the contact options on our website.11. Changes
We may adjust these terms of service from time to time. Changes take effect as soon as they are published on this page. In case of significant changes, we will inform users.12. Applicable law
Dutch law applies to these terms. Disputes will be submitted to the competent court in the Netherlands.13. Contact
